Shout out to every anime fan out there \(^___^)/

Welcome to the magical world of Japanese animation where the characters make you fall in love with them every single day and who're probably a million times cuter and debonair than your average looking male or female. With those huge eyes that sparkle and make you go 'awww', these creations have begun to invade the hearts of people, young and old, around the world.

I remember the first anime that invaded my screen. The American version of the Japanese show, "Cardcaptors" brought infinite delight with the tale of a teenager who's assigned the task of collecting magical cards that she'd unknowingly released into the world. Simply stating this as a cartoon would be injustice,  given the spectacular costumes she'd wear before venturing, in her case, flying, to seal the original forms. Let's not forget the cute teddy bear guardian, Kero, which guides her along every step of the way.  Do check it out if you ever get the chance to, because, Cardcaptors portrays nearly every type of virtue that one should inculcate at an early age: Friendship, Loyalty, Selflessness, Generosity, Kindness and also, that it is alright to made mistakes once in a while, as long as you learn from them. This obsession with that anime led me to cultivate my drawing ability at that age and I remember spending hours in front of the screen with a piece of paper, a pencil and a box of crayons. Here are a few of my cherished creations <3

The number of anime that have been released since that year has increased exponentially,  each with its own engaging storyline, lovable characters,  mysterious yet delightfully good looking antagonist, with unexpected twists and turns at every niche. Some of the most sought after genres are Comedy,  Romance, Horror,  Slice of Life,  Mystery,  Drama , Action and so on.

Here's a list of some of my favourite old school anime that still remain fresh in my memory: Digimon, Inuyasha, Detective School Q, Ghosts at school, Alice Academy,  Princess Tutu, Fullmetal Alchemist, Ranma 1/2, Samurai X, Saber Marionette J etc. There's still a lot more from where that came from but you get the idea.

Feel free to post comments about your favorite anime. A story that truly inspires you or probably one you identify yourself with.

For now, this is me,  Jabber Emi, signing off.
